Our Products

We believe our prices and quality can match any wood pellets made in Great Britain. We are the only manufacturer of our type of high quality briquettes (often also called brickets or wood bricks) in the UK. There are other types of British made briquettes available, but these can't match ours for burn time or heat output. We have yet to be proven wrong on this challenge.

You will always find cheaper imported wood pellet or briquette products. We hope that our customers will take into account how far their wood fuel has travelled, the source of the raw material and the working conditions of the people who make the cheaper imports.

Cheaper does not always mean better with woodfuel. Even if the quality is good coming through ports, we believe our customers will benefit from speaking to the manufacturer rather than just a trader. Customers also benefit from our outstanding customer service, with deliveries made where ever possible at your convenience.

We currently offer three main products:

• Wood Pellets - DIN 6 mm  woodpellets, in 15kg plastic or paper bags, 6 mm  bulk bags or blown.
• 2kg of woodpellets = 1 litre of oil. Price comparison 1 tonne of bagged pellets is the equivalent to 38p per litre of oil. For a bulk tanker delivery the price comparison against a litre of oil is 35p.
• Animal bedding Wood pellets can also be used as pelleted horse bedding, or even cat litter or other pet bedding. There is no difference between the ones bought in the pet shop or equestrian bedding supplier and those used for combustion. All pellets are made from 'waste' sawdust and shavings. No-one can afford to turn wood into shavings just for this use. It is in fact only waste because the British Government decrees it as such, when really it is a perfectly clean byproduct of wood working.
• Briquettes  (packed or bulk bags)- highly compressed sawdust, super density wood fuel, 1 tonne of briquettes is equivalent to 4.12 tonnes of air dried logs. Price comparison 1 tonne of briquettes equals £85 per (real) tonne of logs. This would be about 8 pickup truck loads so you save on handling and storage too. Use much less kindling so further savings there. 
• Stoves, boilers, installation and maintenance. Full service from survey, through choice of appliance to installation, secure fuel supplies and long term maintenance. We can supply wood burning stoves, wood boilers including log boilers and pellet boilers. Also multifuel stoves. Our briquettes are an ideal replacement fuel for coal in multi-fuel stoves and other solid fuel boilers.
